NATO Alliance and Union OF Worlds Cross Over

Comparisons of two universes standard troops and how different they are to each other. I am currently making a universe crossover. Representing the Alliance is a trooper design which I picked a human female. To represent the Empire I have chosen a human male. Both universes have aliens that serve the military.

Nato Alliance troopers

Nato Alliance troopers are well trained in the art of combat. They train for two years, everything from weapons training to mountain climbing exercises. After the training is completed, recruits will take a final test which simulates different combat scenarios, if the recruits pass they earn their units badge and become NATO Alliance troopers. After passing troops continue to train and prepare for their first deployment. Many will be deployed to outer rim planets (close to unknown space) to fight the growing pirate menace. Some troopers will move on to advance training or continue towards special forces. Troopers out number other military units due to their vast numbers in the galaxy. Troopers are well respected as the galaxy's troops defenders and there numbers are always increasing. The ranks of troopers are made up of human and alien forces. Trooper combat gear is tailored to the individual trooper to improve maneuverability and combat effectiveness. The gear is heavily customised to each individual troopers preferences. Combat gear and colour has standards but there is no dress code in terms of colour and troops can mix and match armour parts. Troopers can choose from a huge arsenal of weapons from any country or world and modify them as they see fit. Troops carry a primary and secondary weapon, some troopers will carry three weapons. Each trooper carries a combat knife (also custom built to trooper specification) with a built in holster in their webbing. Combat boots have magnets on the tread of the boots which can be turn on or off when troops are on the side of ship hauls Alliance troopers will fight very hard for the Alliances ideals and to keep their hard earned freedom earned from the galactic war. 

Imperial Troopers

The backbone of Emperor Myric's Empire (Union of Worlds).  Each individual soldier will go through intensive training to become combat efficient, once an individual trooper has passed this phase they are but into units for group training. Training evolves huge war games which often have live fire exercises to test the abilities of troops. Their gear and weapons are high tech and design to meet the troops needs of defending the universe. Each soldier carries the AMX-5 autoplasma rifle and a wrist/gauntlet energy blade for close quarters battle (CQB). Uniforms are extensively tested for use in all combat scenarios. The armour has been designed with the latest technology to improve survivalablity of troops. Imperial trooper numbers are vast and will fight tooth, claw and nail to fight for peace and justice.
