Pirate Forces T198

Building up enemy forces to the Nato Alliance and one force is the pirates in the outer rim in the Milkyway galaxy. The pirates pillage everything and they have looted may abandoned battlefields from the Galactic war. The Eastern Federation suffered the most casualties during the war and many of its vehicles that where badly damaged or destroyed where left on many worlds. The pirates recovered many of these vehicles before a clean up operation could be mounted and where able to make these vehicles operational once more. The Alliance now have to fight these vehicles once more which is more of an annoyance rather than a danger as most of these vehicles are barely useable. One tank that was notorious was the T198 which fought against the The Rising Sun Empire and The NATO Alliance, its design was the traditional shell firing tank instead of the plasma firing vehicles of 2113. The tank was built in vast numbers to fight the Alliance and empire. It was a formidable tank but was no match for experimental tanks which had new weapons that fired plasma. The Guardian 3 proved to be very effective against the T198 and this one shown above was hit in the chassis ammo storage making the vehicle catch fire and blow a hatch on rear of the turret. This vehicle was recovered and spikes modifications added to it hull. The vehicle had been lying on the battlefield for a while, most of its green paint has rusted away and the whole and denting of where the vehicle was hit still shows. The 198 was replaced by the T202 Overlord.
