So the project or fan art I've made, first time I've really played with making backgrounds. This is the upcoming cross platform game I mentioned through hints. The characters and armour took a long time because I had to go through a lot of screen shots and trailers to make the armour to make the characters feel like they are from Defiance. The background was spit into calm and the hellish looking scene is when a ark fall happens.

Ark falls are the remains of alien ships that fall to earth which causes a terraforming effect on earth, the defiance website explains the storyline.

With the characters I decided I wanted a male human in armour and female alien (Irathient) to represent this piece. I also added a hellbug into the chaotic scene.
